Also keep in mind that the technology is still very new and it’s likely to change quite a bit in the future. Much of the smart home technology that was installed in homes four or five years ago is now outdated. If you’re considering making smart home upgrades before you put your home on the market, it’s essential that you talk to your real estate agent first.
